Kos Island is located in the South Aegean Sea, it is one of the Dodecanese Islands.

The South Aegean Sea is located between the mainland of Greece and Turkey.

Kos is located very close to the Turkish mainland and the Turkish city of Bodrum.

Kos is to the North of Rhodes and to the East of Mykanos and Santorini (Thira)
